This one-and-a-half-hour workshop is perfect for anyone curious about ceramics. You'll be introduced to the basics of hand-building with clay—pinching and simple coil work—and create one small piece, such as a cup, bowl, or plate.


With small group sizes, you'll get personalized attention, whether you come solo or with a friend. A warm welcome to the world of clay awaits!

What's included

All materials and tools are included, and your piece will be glazed and fired, ready for pickup in about two weeks.

About your teacher:

I love hosting people — I want everyone to feel welcome, appreciated, and seen. My goal is to give attention and spread joy. Every time I prepare for a class, it feels like it’s my birthday. I clean the space, make coffee, prepare the tables and tools, ready the clay, and wait for guests to arrive.

Ceramics has become a way for me to communicate. In the studio, working with clay, I feel most true to myself. Through clay, I understand and connect with the world around me. That’s why I’m so happy to share it with others. I want to pass on my knowledge and show the endless possibilities within ceramic art— expression, technique, tactility, interaction — there’s so much to explore.
